Why do we experience Déjà Vu ? 😲

You walk into a room and see someone talking.... And then it hits you, you have experienced this moment before! I am sure that allot of us have been in such a situation. However, there is a scientific explanation for this too!  Many scientists believe that this is some sort of a short circuit or a malfunction in our brain. Theory #1: There are many theories surrounding this phenomenon. The first one revolves around the concept of familiarity. The fact that the brain might confuse it with something that we are familiar with instead of something that we remember distinctly. Theory # 2: 🔬 The other theory is about delay processing in the brain! The fact that the brain might process the signal twice, hence making us feel like we have seen or experienced the situation before. Overall, the cause of  Déjà Vu is still disputed upon. With many scientific theories trying to back it up, it is still something that science needs to completely decode. Anyways that's all for today! Com...

 THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR:

The Newschool year; for some it is about to begin whilst for others it has already started.
It's a universal truth that at the start of the school year, everyone's brimming with motivation, ready to conquer the academic world and make the most of every resource at their disposal. But why? Just why do we end up so tired and overwhelmed right after 2-3 weeks.

  •  That's because: We encompass the same mindset😔
  • Mindset is the key player when it comes to actually doing something.
  • The first two weeks of school put the least amount of workload on the students.
  • It is often; in the middle of the school year that you find yourself surrounded with piles of assignments.
  • One big mistake that we do, is procrastinating or " even worse the art of delaying".
  • Why do I find it so hard to focus or to keep up.
  • Here are 3 reasons why:
1) You are distracted: Remove distractions from your life such as keeping up with the endless scrolling of your phone.
2) You are overwhelmed: To much workload? Try to make the most of the time you have. After class take out your notebook, re-vise or have a set schedule. Pomodoro Technique is great and all but remember to focus on the quality of the work not the quantity.
3) Peer pressure: My friends are playing! They are up to date with social media trends and are having the best time of their lives.
Sure, they are, and you can too if you make the most of the time by studying smartly and not studying hard.
Focus on your weakness and refine your strengths.
Do not give them both the same time. Utilize more time on the weakness. It is common sense.
But nowadays common sense is not so common😎

Anyways that's all for today....
Keep sparkling💖

What don't they tell you about attempting information packed IGCSE exams? 💖  So, IGCSE exams are the very first international exams a student sits in. I felt extremely nervous when I first sat in these exams. And I focused so much on the content; that I paid no heed to the past papers.  Time Yourself: How much time is required to finish the exam? 😓 Gradually restrict yourself to a specific and narrow timeframe. Many of my friends attempted only 75% of their paper and left behind the other 15%. This was because they inefficiently utilized their time and therefore, I suggest that you don't make the same mistake. Focus on the concept not content: Even if this means that you act like you are teaching a class of younger students, who will not understand your complicated vocabulary. Focusing on the content only was a huge mistake when, I first set out to attempt the exam. Why was that so? Because I thought everything in the syllabus would come in the exam. By this statement,...
