Why do we experience Déjà Vu ? 😲

You walk into a room and see someone talking.... And then it hits you, you have experienced this moment before! I am sure that allot of us have been in such a situation. However, there is a scientific explanation for this too!  Many scientists believe that this is some sort of a short circuit or a malfunction in our brain. Theory #1: There are many theories surrounding this phenomenon. The first one revolves around the concept of familiarity. The fact that the brain might confuse it with something that we are familiar with instead of something that we remember distinctly. Theory # 2: 🔬 The other theory is about delay processing in the brain! The fact that the brain might process the signal twice, hence making us feel like we have seen or experienced the situation before. Overall, the cause of  Déjà Vu is still disputed upon.  High school opportunities that you need to be aware of:

I am quite aware of the fact that it is hard to find an internship specifically those which are available for free because seldom are they not competitive. By this I mean that free internships are often those which are more selective. However, by this statement I do not want to suggest that paid ones are a waste of time.
This is just my opinion...... and everyone has an opinion right😀

After comprehensive and detailed research, I have managed to compile some of the best internships that I found. I will make a table for this, specifying for who is eligible, what's the cost, is this virtual or an in-person internship.

I have mentioned some competitions as well, so they can be a great way to show your passion if you are an ambitious person.

1)Medicine Encompassed:

  • Medicine Encompassed is a student-led nonprofit organization, which welcomes high school students from grades 9-12, regardless of their background, to join on both a national and international level.

  • They seek members which are passionate about, biology, medicine, (STEAM)
  • It can be quite impressive on your resume.

It Offers students free virtual sessions could be highly beneficial, potentially enhancing their knowledge. Similarly, it may help them grasp some key concepts more effectively.

  • Side note: You can also try free courses on different websites like Coursera, Udemy or even edx( if that's how you spell it)😃
  • It's like an app for high school students to learn the investing in stocks and to build an app in this regard for teenagers.
  • It comes with other advantages as well for the highschoolers
