Why do we experience Déjà Vu ? 😲

You walk into a room and see someone talking.... And then it hits you, you have experienced this moment before! I am sure that allot of us have been in such a situation. However, there is a scientific explanation for this too!  Many scientists believe that this is some sort of a short circuit or a malfunction in our brain. Theory #1: There are many theories surrounding this phenomenon. The first one revolves around the concept of familiarity. The fact that the brain might confuse it with something that we are familiar with instead of something that we remember distinctly. Theory # 2: 🔬 The other theory is about delay processing in the brain! The fact that the brain might process the signal twice, hence making us feel like we have seen or experienced the situation before. Overall, the cause of  Déjà Vu is still disputed upon. With many scientific theories trying to back it up, it is still something that science needs to completely decode. Anyways that's all for today! Com...

How to have a major glow up before the next academic year. 📅

I know how common it is for people to search for ways to become a more productive and efficient person.
I often find myself to be one of these people.
You can be lazy and feel guilty about not working and just watch endless videos on social media. Adoring their lifestyle.
What I normally see on social media, is advise that...... sure, I have followed but it burns your energy out.
So, here are some advice that I actually found helpful.

1)Make sure your skills do not rust!!!!
Skills like reading and writing in any language are 110% essential when it comes to communication. If you can learn a new language or even better do internship in the summer vacations.... hats off to you🌞. Check out my blog regarding internships and summer experience you can do as a high school student.
  • Make sure that you make progress consistently. Do practice questions. Find resources. Immerse yourself in the language.
  • An amazing thing to do would be listening to news.
  • Trust me in this regard!!!
2) Get a head start in studies!!!
  • Perhaps look for ways to indulge yourself into a habit of studying any subject for a particular time period each day.
  • It works.... let me tell you that.
3) Enjoy the summer and align it with your passion.
  • So you're going to graduate highschool next year.
  • Or, you're going to have some life-changing exams next year, like: olevels or igcse
  • And you want to enjoy this summer.
  • THEN DO ENJOY IT!!!
  • Make trips or plans with friends with your family and friends. What's the point of summer when there's no fun.
  • Spend summer productively.
  • Live Happily😀
4) Adjust your schedules......
  • I have made this mistake and I donot want you to make the same errors during your summer vacations or in some cases winter vactions.
  • So..... just hear me out.
  • Sleep schedules and a good healthy diet is essential for a glow up.
  • Some exercise can also be put into this category.
  • Set everything up before you dive into the next school year.
  • Develop long-lasting habits.
These tips will help you ace your new academic year.
Just so you know I am going to publish some questions and answers to help the students taking IGCSE prepare for the exams (Transport in Plants) 💖
Just keep sparkling 💕!!!

Alzheimer´s Disease Simplified

What is Alzheimer´s Disease ? A disease associated with the brain that causes memory loss and changes in behavior / thinking of an individual. What causes the disease? -  Two harmful proteins known as amyloid  plaques and tau tangles builds up in the brain adversely, affecting the neurons in the brain(neurons are specialized cells in the brain that help in communication, thinking , remembering and learning). - The probability of a person being affected by the disease increases with age, alongside other risk factors like: genes or even a persons lifestyle.  What are some symptoms ? - Forgetting recent events or familiar names - Finding it hard to do every day tasks - Changes in mood or behavior  - Getting lost in familiar places  Although there is no concrete cure available there are many treatments that can slow down it´s effect. An example of which is "Cholinesterase Inhibitors", essentially they prevent breakdown of a chemical known as acetyl...

Can Algae be used as a biofuel?

In a  world  that's continuously  evolving , one of the most  prominent   issues  that's  getting  increasingly  pivotal  for the  world  to solve  is fossil fuels depletion . Although, we've  learned  about the  climate   extremity  in  detail  when young , the  world  seems to  turn  a blind   eye  to the  issue at the  moment. Numerous  renewable methods  like solar, wind and wave  energy   are  being   used  due to their sustainability   benefits . S till , these methods  themselves might  be   too  expensive  or  occasionally ,  have  environmental  consequences . T hus , today  I  bring  to you another  strong   contender  in this  race:   ALGAE What are Algae??? - Algae are a  group  of ...

Protein Folding

Why does the shape of a protein matter? -  To build a brick building you need all bricks to complement each other .....to scaffold upon each other to make a strong structure. Just like that amino acids, which are the small bricks that make protein need to arrange in a certain manner to make certain proteins. How does protein folding occur?😮 As mentioned above proteins are made when amino acids are arranged in a certain manner in long chains. These chains -ofcourse have to fold to make up a protein shapes. This happens spontaneously and due to repulsion between amino acids and watery environments in the cells. Cells help the protein to fold with the help of chaperone proteins ( chaperone of course after the drivers of the process). These proteins help to prevent misfolding . Why does it even matter?🧐 The type of shape that the protein has determines its functions. - It can act as an enzyme. - It build up hair or nails . - It can be used to transport oxygen in the blood thro...
